Fly Project is a Romanian dance/trance and latin pop DJ group, formed in Bucharest, having Tudor Ionescu and Dan Denes as members. In 2011, the band was nominated to MTV Europe Music Award for Best Romanian Act. Since the musical grop's foundation in 2005, the band performed at more than 2,000 concerts worldwide. ==Career== Fly Project made its debut in music already in 2005 with the song "Raisa". The song became popular, reaching charts in Europe, including the French Singles Chart and the Romanian Top 100. Then they released their debut studio album, called ''Fly Project''. One year later, a Romanian language song, called "K-Tinne" reached the position #52 in Romanian Top 100's 2007 year-end chart, while reaching the first position in their native country's weekly chart. After a break, the band released "Brasil", which topped charts from Romania, Russia, Greece, Spain, Moldova, Turkey, the Netherlands, Serbia〔 Hungary and other. The single was nominated for "Best dance song" on the Romanian Music Awards. Their song "Mandala" from 2011, reached for the first time a top-ten peak position in Russia and the later released song "Goodbye" was the most playied song in their native country in that year. It rose up to popularity in more countries and reached the first position in the Romanian Singles Chart and the fourth position in the Romanian End-Year Chart. "Musica" was released in 2013 and became the band's second most successful single. It was a top-ten hit in Italy and Russia and was certified gold by the FIMI. Fly Project's most successful single is "Toca-Toca". It was shortly a global hit. The single reached the first position in two countries and the chart in over fifteen countries like France, Belgium and Spain.
